We visited Billy Bob's with our young daughter in order to attend her friend's 5th birthday party. The set up for kids is great with the ability to hire private self contained 'houses' that provide a great space for children's parties. There's loads of outdoor space with climbing frames, slides and play structures and a large barn that has zip lines, rope swings and a foam pit. The entire place was much larger than we expected so there was always somewhere for the kids to explore. If you're into 1950's Americana then this place will not disappoint. The main building is awash with golden age nostalgia with several restaurants and 'diners' serving everything you'd expect from a place themed on the era. Pancake stacks, ice-cream floats, shakes, fries and burgers are all amongst the menu staples.

We visited for a birthday treat and had 5 children with us ranging from 15yrs down to 2. What a fabulous spot. Everything was in excellent condition which made us think the spot was new - but apparently it has been there for some years! The play equipment was fantastic and gave a good variety for the age range. The restaurant itself was awesome. We loved the huge American truck and the school bus and all the seating arrangements. However because we were a party of 9 our table was sadly in the middle of the walkway which made it quite hard to keep a 2 year old contained but on the plus side the food was awesome. The menu was so huge it was hard to decide but that was not a negative. The staff were fabulous and were super helpful and polite. Think we will be back for another visit soon

Well what a find, seen the signs on various journeys, decided to pull in and wasn’t disappointed. We book our daughter into the play area and she absolutely loved everything from the hay barn, slides and swings to the sponge pit, to the various wooden climbing frames and swings on the park. We chose to dine mulling between cake and coffee etc and yeah loved the food American dinner options wow this was hands down a great day out.

Amazing place. Our kids loved it. The play park was a showstopper and the authentic American drinks from the tuck shop were brilliant. Recommend the milkshakes from the restaurant as well.

For what it is, you can’t fault it! All American experience from the decor, fencing outside and music which is played around the site, even the toilets were American porcelain! Feels a little theme-park-like for my personal taste and is likely more of a special treat destination rather than a regular. Couple of kids parties were going on while we were there in the ‘party houses’ and it would be a great destination for this - plenty of space and options for siblings etc to play. Staff were very on point from the moment we walked in directing us to the play area and forewarning us that they were fully booked after 11am (Sunday). Play area was good, lots of wooden climbing vehicles (tractor, boat, helicopter, bus, arc, train etc) all with slides down them, seating for parents, couple large swings, large play barn with slides that you grab a rug to go down, couple of zip lines, and loads of rope swings so you could swing form one side of the straw bales to another - better for older kids and saw a few adults testing it out too! 3 for our 2yr old for 1hr which was reasonable. Cafe hatch too there but didn’t use. Then went for food in main restaurant, extensive American menu, very generous proportions and saw many leftover food boxes being taken away. Too much for us and felt it was slightly expensive but probably justified by the experience of the place rather than the quality of the food. On that note - portion sizes already mentioned but also my bagel was dry and broke apart as I was trying to eat it...I’ve had better food but that’s not the aim here. Probably wouldn’t rush back ourselves but if you like American food then this is your place! I will tell others who have travelled America about it. For me, I’d have liked it to be slightly quieter (even though we also had a toddler and baby, it was hard to hear my other half in conversation), I think due to music playing overhead and lots of excited kids on the next table. Some natural plants might have balanced out the neon lighting, plastic fencing and commercial signage art going on, including outside but is just a personal note for anyone else of a similar disposition! :-) in more plan English, it wasn’t much of a relaxing experience but honestly couldn’t fault it! Just a certain vibe to be aware of before you go . Overall a good stop on our journey to let off some toddler steam and get some food. Just to add; we had beef bagel, double cheeseburger, side chips, full stack Nutella banana pancakes, coffees x2, water, apple juice, kids Mac cheese, 1x milkshake, and it cost about 70. Maybe study the menu before you arrive, it’s quite wordy!

This is the second time we went. Once we were sat with children in the Coca Cola van. As it can get quite loud and we were only adults we went the second time around into an adult only room. Great atmosphere, love the American style of decorations. And the food was really nice too.

When you come here you feel like you have stepped into a dream style version of American in the 1950-60 but it doesn't lose the charm of a great diner experience. Visually keeping true to a good view of the past of the usa right down to the food and serving but lends strength to the ability for outdoornplayareas not just with safe play but also controlled rough play as well for the more energy deleting children. Only had ice cream but will be back in the near future to try out the dining experience this offers 5/5 would come again P.s in the barn play area I got pooed on by a barn owl Never a dull moment
